Application Area
Used in areas such as sealing the automotive door panel barrier, automotive window, interior and around the sunroof. Making sure all surfaces are clean and dry the butyl tape is applied direct from the reel onto the surface along the whole length to give good adhesion. Then remove the backing paper and apply the other surface to the sealant and compact to firm the seal. For on line applications from the drum with the sealant pump, adjusting the pressure of the pump according to the ambient temperature in order to control the sealants diameter. |
